Position : Submersible Co-Pilot/Pilot Trainee
Job Description : Atlantis Submarines in Kona has a full-time opportunity for a Submersible Co-Pilot/Pilot Trainee.The successful candidate will perform boat and seamanship functions, deliver entertaining and educational marine narrations, and provide other guest related duties.The co-pilot is responsible for assisting the Pilot in maneuvering the submersible and will participate in all levels of maintenanceApplicants should be able to SCUBA dive, or be able to learn to SCUBA dive; should have at minimum a 2 year diploma or degree in electrical, electronics, mechanics, marine biology or other related experience. Excellent guest service and polite and professional public speaking skills are essential.A USCG Masters license is desired, but not required.Successful candidates will need to pass a USCG required drug test prior to employment and participate in an ongoing quarterly schedule of random tests. In addition, applicants will be subject to COVID-19 rules and restrictions.Work schedule may include holidays and weekends and may include rotating shifts.
