Job Description : Our busy orthopedic clinic is recruiting for an experienced Surgery Scheduler.Overall ResponsibilitySchedule patients for surgery/manage surgery schedules.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Schedule surgeries and pre-operative appointmentsVerify insurance eligibility and benefitsContact insurance to obtain precertificationObtain surgery authorization for industrial patientsMail patient informationLocate and pull charts for surgery patientsComplete surgery scheduling forms for various facilities and hospitalsThe ideal candidate would posses good communication skills, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of customer/patient service.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and twelve to eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePlease submit your resume and cover letter for confidential consideration.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Surgery Scheduler: 1 year (Preferred)EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
