Position : Temporary Digital Communications Specialist, Part-Time
Job Description : This recruitment is for a part-time Temporary Digital Communications Specialist III position through UCIโs internal temporary service at the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine. This opening is part-time, between 16 to 20 hours per week. Position is fully remote.
Reporting to the Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences department, the Digital Communications Specialist, would aid in developing branding content and creative direction for public outreach efforts. Tasks & duties include, but are not limited to:
Designing and creating original digital content
Assisting in development of a branding guide
Creating infographics and flyers for the Centerโs events
Editing videos, and developing the Centerโs monthly newsletter
Work alongside the Center staff to create necessary graphics to accompany their grants and scientific reports
Compensation Range: $31.75 per hour
Required:
Previous experience and/or familiarity creating medical illustrations, infographics, and science-related content
Graphic design experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, CANVA, and Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred:
Bachelorโs degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
Previous project-based experience in social media or public relations
