Job Description : Sharp Transit is seeking a highly motivated Terminal Manager for our location in Haines City, FL. The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain and develop relationships with our customer and drivers, be people-oriented, innovate and improve processes, provide a high-touch level of service, and be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Manage / oversee all terminal functions to include dispatch, maintenance, and scheduling for timely deliveries and backhaulsLead, guide and direct terminal employees to include setting targets/goals, monitoring performance, providing coaching, counseling and developmentOversee the training and development of drivers, dock and office staffPlay an active role in personnel recruitmentEstablish and maintain solid customer relationshipsEnsure safety, service and quality measuresEnsure that drivers are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations including Hours of ServiceReview and approve weekly payroll and billingRequirementsFive years transportation management experienceExtensive knowledge of DOT regulations and Electronic logsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility and desire to coach and grow driver poolRecruiting and Retention experienceFlexibility to work 55+ hours per week including some nights and weekendsBenefits Include:Competitive PayMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurances401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time OffSharp Transit offers: Competitive Pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits, 401(k) with Company Match, Paid Vacation.Sharp Transit has been a dedicated hauler for Aldi Grocery stores for 20 years.
