Job Description : We are looking for a Training & Development Coordinator to support one of our clients in North Jersey
Our client is a roofing and asphalt manufacturing plant in Kearny, NJ
Title: Training & Development Coordinator
Location: Kearny, NJ
Hours: Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM
Pay: $28-30/HR depending on experience
Duration: Direct Hire with Benefits
Job Duties:
Ensure that all safety standards and requirements are upheld.
Notify supervisor of any and all incidents, injuries, or accidents.
Follow and participate in all TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), training, and safety as established by the plant.
Adhere to all environment regulations regarding waste disposal.
Inspect all vehicles and equipment before use.
Report any and all abnormalities to the appropriate personnel to rectify the problem.
Participate in TPM initiatives and apply methodology to gain a better understanding of equipment.
Create all training plans for New Hire Orientation and current employees.
Assist in training by helping employees certify for their jobs.
Train employees on Standardized Work using Sharepoint and One Point Lessons.
Maintain training records.
Drive the Management of Chance process related to Training Package materials to ensure proper documentation is used for training.
Attend and lead various meetings.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Products.
Basic mechanical knowledge and TPM Methodology.
Demonstrated math and communication skills.
Ability to read and understand Technical Manuals and Specification Sheets.
Facilitate training in all environments.
Maintain certifications necessary to train employees.
Must be able to work independently and in a group.
Ability to perform / work in wet environments, uncomfortable noise levels (hearing protection provided), prolonged sitting or standing, repetitive motions, and lift 40lbs.
