Position : Urban Outfitters, Inc. Inventory Control Supervisor

Job Description : Reports to: Operations Manager
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Overview
This role will ensure their department, and the overall site, meets metrics for safety, service, quality, and cost. The supervisor will direct a team of associates in a function tasks (cycle counting, unloading/receiving, order picking, loading) to ensure the daily objectives are accomplished. The supervisor will work closely with the associates to coach and train processes, identify opportunities, and communicate across departments to ensure the overall health of the business.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation of their function area
Clearly define daily and weekly objectives to the workforce.
Champion successes and address areas of opportunity
Ensure processes are followed
Ensure product handling and storage is followed
Supervise a team of 20+ associates daily
Execute work plans to ensure cost and service are met
Report progress throughout the day to leadership
Ensure that objectives are met (or exceeded)
Coach and train your team
Qualifications
3+ years leading a team in a distribution facility or manufacturing operation
Professional written and verbal communication
Strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
Strong computer skills, preferably with a Warehouse Management System
Experience with Furniture Delivery or Manufacturing a plus
Education
High School (or Equivalent), College preferred.
