Position : Utility Worker – CAID – Cathode/Mining Division
Job Description : Hiring now for utility workers in our Cathode mining division. CAID’s Cathode facility is housed in a manufacturing environment, and the work is laid out in an assembly phase. This is where you will be assigned different duties pertaining to Cathode maintenance such as straightening, staining, stripping, and washing used Cathodes to prepare them for another project.Employees will be assigned to different stations within the Cathode refurbishing process. Employees will also be responsible for measuring and marking metal stock, as well as monitoring and setting appropriate feed and speed of Cathode machines during the printing process.CAID offers full time schedules for our employees, Overtime, Health Care/Dental/Vison (including a free COMPANY PAID option), long and short term disability and basic health insurance are COMPANY PAID, 80 hours of PAID vacation annually, PPE reimbursement and a company matched 401K retirement plan. EXPERIENCE: No experience required but prior construction, landscaping, repetitive manufacturing experience is helpfulMust be able to lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis and team lift as neededMust be able to follow written and oral instructionsMust be adaptable to changing work environment, competing demand and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected eventsWilling and able to work flexible shifts and possible Overtime schedulesShift start time is 4am – must have reliable transportation!ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Handling and moving objects – Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materialsResponsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipmentAbility to work SAFELY!WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing environment: May be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSSitting, standing, kneeling, laying, stooping, crawling, reaching, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs regularly.SAFETY SENSITIVEThis is a Safety Sensitive position: A Safety Sensitive position is a job or position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety or other people’s safety.
