THE OPPORTUNITY
This position requires the ability to understand all aspects of selection, stacking and movement of product and all other duties within our warehouse facilities. Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time nationally until plant in Abilene TX is open. Travel expenses will be covered by GLC, which includes per diem.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule/additional hours as business needs require.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in warehouse environment as an operator of powered equipment to include but not limited to electronic pallet jacks and fork lifts.
Must be able to relocate to Abilene, Texas once travel assignment is complete

BENEFITS
TRAVEL PAY: Pay for travel time on overnight trips
DAILY PER DIEM WHEN TRAVELING: $50.00
Company provided housing
M-F- shifts. 40 hours/week with the possibility of overtime

Job Responsibilities
Self-Managed individual capable of assessing needs and taking appropriate action.
Under general supervision, will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of product.
Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
Efficiently stack and safely store product in the designated area.
Pick orders for shipment and assemble
Accurately prepare Customer orders within GLC and Customer guidelines/requirements.
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean working environment.
All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED.
Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices.
Ability to read and prepare shipping and receiving records/reports and comprehend production schedules/pick sheets.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Must be able to work without relocation.
Preferred Education and Experience
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment.
Lift truck experience.
Experience in the use of a bar code driven (RF) operation.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 32-60 degrees F.
Various types of PPE are required and provided to prevent exposure to hazardous materials, to reduce the risk of injury, and/or to protect the quality of our product.
Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead and pushing/pulling/carrying. Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.
Product weight: up to 100 lbs.
Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters.
