Job Description : Vinnie Fera is a local craft winery located in Boulder, Colorado that is in growth mode. The Winemaker is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the wine production process.Responsibilities· Perform all day-to-day operations including crushing, wine making, cellar & barrel management, bottling, labeling, and storage, and other related tasks· Assist in selection, delivery, and processing of grapes· Schedule production based on facility capabilities· Organization and sanitation of equipment and facility, including supervision of maintenance and repairs· Maintain inventory of supplies and product· Monitor the condition of all wines to prevent spoilage and loss· Collaborate with the CEO to innovate new blends and products and adapt to the changing marketRequirements· Degree in winemaking or comparable experience· Previous experience as a vintner· Ability to contribute to tasting· Ability to make selections regarding yeast, barrels, cellaring and other aspects that contribute to an enjoyable wine.· Attention to detailWe offer a great compensation and benefit package for a up and coming winery.
