Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY: Our client, a leader in providing accounts payable services to some of the best known names in banking, automotive, fuel, consumer goods and other industries, is seeking a Bill Pay Specialist to join their team! The Bill Pay Specialist is responsible for payment processing related tasks, and assisting clients with various questions and concerns. This role requires excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills and offers a great training program and the potential for growth! This role is 100% remote, and our client will provide all needed equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION
Process virtual card transactions on behalf of client base
Define virtual card processing instructions for suppliers on the network
Maximize payment processing opportunities for clients
Follow up with suppliers that have outstanding payments that need processing
All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong listening and analytical skills
Intermediate level of knowledge/expertise with PC software (Word and Excel)
Intermediate level of knowledge with Internet technology
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience with MS Office applications
Customer Support experience
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Coordinate with Client Support Supervisor on daily tasks.
TECHNOLOGY AND TOOLS UTILIZED
PC, MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Front App, Asana other 3rd party and proprietary tools required to complete assignments.
