Job Description : Overview:
Otter Products is hiring for a CAD Designer to join our Engineering team. This position can be based 100% remote in the US or in one of our offices (Fort Collins, CO or San Diego, CA).
As a CAD Designer, you will ensure that our design and engineering work conforms to the high technical and organizational standards of Otter Products and meets or exceeds all requirements. In this position, you will assist with design duties associated with product specifications across our various product lines and brands.

Utilize SolidWorks to develop layouts, designs, and drawings that meet or exceed engineering specifications
Work within a team to generate and review CAD models, technical documentation, simulations, and prototypes
Maintain CAD files and supporting documentation in a product data management system
Work within a product lifecycle management system to release new, and revise existing, product designs and documentation
Provide feedback on guidelines and processes
Adhere to strict company and partner information security protocols
Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Minimum associate degree (or equivalent work experience) in design or engineering required
Minimum of 3 years design experience including computer aided drafting (CAD) is required
