Location: Mumbai / Pune
Report to: Development Head West Asia
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Application development pertaining to performance colorants & additives in the field of Home/personal care products & Polyurethane Foam/elastomer etc. Design & Perform experiments, testing and lab work according to instructions and test methods Color matching and colorant formulations Responsible for Formulation development of additives, colorants etc. to commercial scale up Support to Sales team by completing Technical Service Report, Sales Tools & Customer trials Contribution to safety, housekeeping
Requirements: Master’s in chemistry (preferably Organic or Analytical) or Chemical Engineering/ Technology with 5- 10 years working experience in Application development, synthesis or formulation development Knowledge of detergent formulation &/ or thermoset polymer chemistry Experience in the field of pigments & dyes is desirable from the color matching perspective Good verbal and electronic communication skills Computer skills, especially Power point, Word, Excel and search engines Able to work independently as well as Team worker & flexible in approach/attitude.
