Job Description : Rock Supremacy LLC is hiring to fill several openings.
Rock Supremacy is a rock stabilization company based out of Bend, Oregon. We are licensed in 10 western states. Travel is a requirement and may require workers to be on the road up to 10 months of the year.
We are currently looking to hire 3-5 rock scalers/ drillers/ laborers. Qualified candidates are dependable, not afraid of hard work, have a good work history, comfortable working in the elements (rain, wind, snow, heat, sun), HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION, a bank account, 2-3 years of heavy civil construction background, and have lived and worked on the road full time for 1-2 years
You must be comfortable working at heights, in a harness and on a rope (not all of our jobs require this, but many do), as well as performing other construction duties on the ground. Previous rope work puts you to the front of the list. ALL employees are responsible for providing their own climbing harness and gear.
Typical work days include, but are not limited to, building and installing rock bolts and dowels, mixing grout, shooting shotcrete, moving bags of cement, scaling, drilling, operating heavy equipment, working in and around heavy equipment. This is a labor intensive position.
Hours vary but the average work week is 50-60 hours a week.
Pay between $53-58 Standard Rate/$73-75Overtime Rate (depending on skill set, in AK, overtime is paid on the wage, but doesn’t include the fringe)
Weekly pay range is $3800- 4500. Per diem is $100 a day. Per diem is paid for each day worked
Reliable transportation is required.

This project is located on the Sterling Highway, at Mile Post 57, approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Anchorage.
