Position : Sales Coordinator – Weddings

Job Description : As a Wedding Sales Coordinator you will provide clerical support to a team of professional Wedding Sales Consultants with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings at the Walt Disney World Resort. You will work with clients and handle transactions for accounts, while maintaining heavy call volume of Guests and partners.

You will report to the Wedding Sales & Services Director.

Responsibilities :
You Will:

Support Wedding Sales Managers with sales opportunities, pre-arrival details and all necessary clerical work while handling a heavy phone volume
Research clients using internet resources such as Hoover and LinkedIn
Prepare all logistics and documentation for client site visits
Provide data entry support for documents and contracts as requested by leadership
Request park venues reservations and work with Sales and Services Managers to coordinate venue space moves
Prepare and ship materials and packages
Track admissions, room nights, food and beverage and Entertainment revenue for Weddings
Help schedule wedding site visit appointments, input wedding information into the Disney Sales & Catering System and Siebel
Prepare and distribute wedding Letter of Agreements to couples, respond to a high volume of guest phone calls and emails
You will also process mail, making copies, compiling expense reports, setting up meetings and any other clerical responsibilities
Identify and achieve work-related needs

Basic Qualifications :
You Have:

6+ months of work experience in a complex guest service role or administrative role
Knowledge of Hospitality Industry, including processes and work flows
High proficiency creating reports, communicating using Outlook and capability to adapt to new technology and computer applications quickly
Knack for establishing trusting relationships with leaders and partners to move the operation forward to the next level of excellence
Capability to share communication across teams to ensure everyone understands updates, priorities and appropriate course of escalation
Experience seeing projects through completion
Capability to discover and understand client needs
High competency managing requests and priorities simultaneously amidst constant change
Creativity to use technology to create solutions for the team and clients

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge in Weddings, Resorts, and Hospitality Industry
Proficient with the Disney Advantage tools
Knowledge of Siebel/CRM, DSCS, Banquet Event Orders, CastApp, Certain, and/or A La Carte
Experience supporting groups and conventions teams

Required Education :

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education :

Associate’s degree or equivalent
