Description:Specific job responsibilities include supporting the RMS Security Management staff at the Manassas, VA facility with the operations of the Classified Document Control Center. Ensure proper transmission of documents within and outside the facilities, (e.g., registered or express mail, issue courier papers). Maintain accountability and control of classified material in accordance with provisions of the National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM) and RMS policy applicable to the Manassas facility. Be familiar with the operation of standard office equipment, (e.g., facsimiles, copiers, etc.). Selected applicant should demonstrate excellent
customer service skills.

Responsible for documenting and tracking all collateral classified being transmitted in and out of the Manassas facility in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Obtain and sign all receipts that classified has been received. Conduct and support self-inspections as directed by the FSO. Support DSS Vulnerability Assessment of program(s). Ensure proper destruction of classified material. Conduct inventories of classified material prior to the destruction and maintain records of material destroyed, as appropriate. Conduct a 100% annual review of classified holdings as directed by the FSO. Conduct reviews of classified containers on a regular basis ensuring materials are properly marked in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Issue and control media used with classified areas. Utilize multiple databases for the purpose of sending/receiving collateral visits.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Possess an active/current SECRET clearance. Able to obtain Top Secret clearance

Must be able to work with multiple customers taking directions, providing feedback and must be able to build effective team and customer relationships through open and effective communication.
Desired Skills:
Prior industrial security experience preferred.

Experience with Security Information Management System (SIMS) database.

Possess excellent computer skills, spreadsheet proficiency, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; excellent oral and written communications skills; A team player with a positive attitude, initiative, tact, and the ability to exercise sound judgment; ability to work at a high level of
administrative competence with minimal supervision
