Sseeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Representative to join our Corporate Risk Management Team. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be providing administrative support to the oversight of the Enterprise Workers’ Compensation Program. Seeking candidates with prior experience working in a Corporate Risk Management Department, with experience specific to workers’ compensation, multi-line insurance experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Reporting of new workers’ compensation claims from internal company stakeholders to the Claims Administrator.
General oversight of workers’ compensation claims, report generation, and communication with employees, managers, safety, human resources, insurance carriers, medical personnel, and attorneys.
Coordinate, track, and respond to subpoenas related to workers’ compensation matters.
Assist in securing information requested by the Claims Administrator for workers’ compensation claim investigations as needed.
Communicate workers’ compensation claim statuses to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
Manage and respond to all inquiries/questions sent to the Workers’ Compensation Center of Excellence’s general email inbox and toll-free number.
Assist employees and supervisors with the workers’ compensation process.
Participates in a collaborative process with the Claims Administrator and internal stakeholders to identify and create temporary transitional work assignments for employees who have been injured at work.
Aids in the evaluation of the Workers’ Compensation Third Party Administrator’s performance and adherence to service instructions through participation in claim reviews and audits.
Develops and ensures the adherence to Workers’ Compensation Best Claims Practices and Company Procedures as appropriate.
Assists in strategic planning aimed at reducing the incidence of work-related injuries.
Supports the ADA Reasonable Accommodation/Interactive Process, when involving an employee that was injured due to a work-related accident.
Remains abreast of existing legislation and monitors new legislation to assist with ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation insurance, a Corporate Risk Management environment, and/or Occupational Health & Safety.
Possess advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
An understanding of workers’ compensation as it relates to FMLA, STD, LTD, and ADA.
Working Knowledge of the Defense Base Act, USL&H and Foreign Voluntary Workers’ Compensation.
Prior experience providing claims oversight for a Corporate Risk Management Department, or an insurance carrier is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree with experience in Workers’ Compensation insurance, a Corporate Risk Management environment, and/or Occupational Health & Safety.
Salary Range: $61,900 USD – $92,900 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
