Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Data Clerk
Department: Programming
Reports To: Outcomes Measurement Coordinator & Unit Directors
Status: Part Time, Hourly
Job Summary:
This position is to ensure maintenance, accuracy and input of high volumes of data.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
Register members’ information, ensure that parent(s) complete forms and submit supporting documents in a timely manner.
Meets deadlines and ensures compliance with all data.
Encourage parents to sign the report card, photo, emergency health treatment and mentoring requests form.
Must keep MyClubHub (MCH), Cayen, and other membership databases up to date (programs and attendance).
Maintain a daily attendance record in Excel as back-up
Ensure clubs maintain complete membership files at site and electronically.
Manage, audit and organize records and files.
Provide assistance and support as needed via phone, email and in person.
Assist with Grant record keeping and preparation of reports.
Maintain an organized and professional work environment.
Uses professionalism In all aspects of the job.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
1 year of data entry experience.
Experience with a minimum 3-line telephone system.
Skills:
Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail.
Ability to think analytically.
Typing/keyboarding skills of at least 35-50 wpm.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Good organization and diligence skills.
Must maintain strict confidentiality.
Able to multi-task and prioritize.
ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical requirements include physical exertion such as lifting, stretching, and bending as well as sitting for prolonged periods of time. The work environment is a hybrid mix of inside the club and working remotely and includes interaction with children ages 6-18 which can be noisy at times.
