As the RaceWay District Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and ensuring the success up to 25 RaceWay convenience stores in the Virginia district. In this role, you will support the Franchisees by acting with a servant-leader mentality, going the extra mile, listening and communicating respectfully, and solving problems with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Responsibilities:
Mentor, support and serve as a consultant to Franchisees to ensure a high level of engagement and operational success.
Perform proactive store visits regularly to ensure RaceWay brand standards are maintained.
Manage and mitigate all reported concerns with a sense of urgency and involve appropriate support personnel as needed.
Understand and support the execution of store functions such as merchandising layout, food programs, vendor relations, and community involvement.
Analyze and provide effective feedback on Franchisee performance, financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
Analyze market trends and regularly track fuel gasoline volume and leverage support from the Fuel Pricing team to identify and mitigate any problems as they arise.
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new Franchisees.
Ensure contracts, leases, and service agreements align with company and legal regulations by partnering with Franchise Sales, RaceWay Support, Store Support, and RaceWay Inventory Accounting departments.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed
3+ years experience in a retail environment; multi-unit experience preferred
Knowledge and skills in analyzing financial performance, including profit and loss statements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in cross functional environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to new systems easily
Located in Virginia or willing to relocate
Willing to travel within Virginia district
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Work Location: One location
