Always Responsive Home Care is currently looking for a long term temp Human Resources Generalist for our busy home care agency! This is a full time position M-F from 830am to 430pm.
We are a dynamic home health care agency seeking a well qualified and experienced Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource in conjunction with the HR Company platform. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs, carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: interviews, screenings, departmental development, following up on required company documents, background checks, filing, data entry, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, orientation, organizational development, and employment.
The HR Generalist should recruit and identify prospective openings, interview suitably qualified applicants, and ultimately, extend job offers to the strongest candidates.
To be successful as a HR Generalist, you should be tech savvy, well organized, able to multitask, highly personable with a positive persistent approach and have the ability to change gears fast. Ultimately, a top-notch HR Generalist will devise strategies to build rapport with candidates and hire in a timely fashion.
Along with the onboarding process, this role also has many other multifaceted assignments regarding retention and ongoing requirements/follow ups for new and existing employees.*HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Pinpointing current and inevitable vacancies needed.
Maintain a list of suitable candidates and only on board qualified candidates in a timely manner.
Able to fully on board and hire at least 2 new candidates daily.
Perform Interviews candidates and select the most suitable individuals.
Sending and assisting new candidates the required information and documents needed for successful hiring.
Requesting candidates to send required documents and processing data
Extending job offers to each prospective employee.
Providing necessary orientation to each new hire.
Oversee all onboarding processes for new and rehires.
Educate, Document and report on new and exiting employees’ performance including performance improvement plans.
Implementing strategies to develop and retain employees.
Scheduling of Covid testing for new and prospective employees including, reminders to employees and updating necessary documents.
And various other recruiting/hiring and HR related additional tasks as assigned by management.
HR Coordinator Requirements:
Prior experience in Human Resources, Hiring or a Recruiter.
Experience with software applications
Ability to change gears fast
Commitment to the sustained expansion of your team.
In-depth understanding of appropriate duties and compensation of the hiring position.
Familiarity with labor legislation.
Excellent research skills and time management.
Top-notch interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
Capacity to mentor and develop new hires.
