Job Description : Prime Function:
Welcoming Guests to the pool facility, being courteous and friendly to guests, attentive to their needs, handling guest issues in a professional manner
A Lifeguard is responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuing swimmers are adhering to pool rules and regulations
Key Responsibilities:
As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
Supervise and ensure safety of swimmers
Ensure guests feel safe in the pool area
Ensure that proper pool testing has taken place prior to Guests using the facility.
Inspect facilities for cleanliness; general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout shift
Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practice; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations
Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required
Observe the swimming area for unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers who are struggling.
Perform First aid and CPR on guest swimmers during emergency
Keep the pool area clean and well maintained and also to ensure water hygienic and safety standards are met at all times.
Ensure Guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, attend and complete safety training and certifications as required by the management.
Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times and proper grooming and personal appearance to be maintained.
