Job Description : THE POSITION
Clarks Summit State Hospital is actively recruiting skilled individuals as Maintenance Repairmen 2s (MR2). As an MR2, you will work alongside our skilled Electricians and Plumbers maintaining over 40 buildings at our facility, which spans 154 acres of land. This position requires a multi-skilled, self-motivated, and independent thinker to complete assignments, as well as learn newly acquired skills in these trades.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You will be responsible for performing skilled tasks and repairs associated with building maintenance trades related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment repair under the supervision of the Electrical Foreman in the Maintenance Trades Section of the Facility Services Department. Hours of work: 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, 30-minute lunch
Rotating weekends and on-call holidays
Travel: As needed
Overtime: As needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
In compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, if you are selected for this position, you must show, at the time of hire, verification that you have received either a single-dose COVID-19 vaccination, or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination, unless you are exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination due to an ADA or religious accommodation. Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; OR Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Necessary Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver’s License.
