Position : Officer – NACH process
Job Description : The Service Analyst 2 is an intermediate position responsible for workflow analysis of departmental systems, workforce and procedures in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to ensure accurate reporting and compliance across all product lines.
Responsibilities:
Design and analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements
Write specifications for new report programs, spreadsheets and other devices to produce reports
Develop and prepare reports and records relating to a particular project
Provide basic assistance within a specific section of the company’s customer service function
Develop and maintain working knowledge of industry practices and standards
Recommend appropriate actions to resolve identified problems, as needed
Apply knowledge of how business teams interact with others in accomplishing Customer Service goals and assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Description:
This role involves review of NACH mandate received from NPCI site, evaluate the details mentioned in the form in line with the approved check list and maintain the mandate in our banking system
The role involves the following:
Detailed review of documents submitted by the client
Multiple, frequent and detailed co-ordination with other channel, NPCI and Clients in order to process the instruction.
Maintaining turnaround and quality metrics of processing, as defined by business.
Work closely with NPCI to ensure adherence to controls, regulatory requirements and timely closure of the same.
To ensure BAU operations are in line with unit’s processes and deliver zero clerical error and nil client/financial impacts.
Manage the team in its day today operations, monitor dashboards for timely corrective action and escalation.
Conduct MCA for the NACH process and take steps to improve the efficiency of the activities.
Co ordinate and manage end to end all audit deliverables.
Review NPCI circulars on mandate maintenance and ensure compliance to applicable regulations.
Manage stakeholder escalations and work towards reduction.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/Post Graduate in any Stream, preferably in Commerce/Economics/Business Administration.
Experience:
6-10 years of experience in a related operations management role is essential
Prior experience/ sound knowledge of Banking operations will be an added advantage
Proficient at MS Office, particularly the in MS Excel is mandatory.
Prior experience in MIS tracking and team handling will be an added advantage.
Other preferred attributes:
Good interpersonal skills with a natural ability for interacting with clients
Effective co-ordination skills especially for multi-tasking and multiple interactions
Ability to handle all documentation/trackers independently
Ability to deliver in crunched timelines
Ability to deliver under pressure
Sound judgment and strong decision making skills with an eye for detail. •
Ability to work in teams and motivate teams.
Ability for lateral thinking (this will be tested prior to the interview).
Ability to prioritize and effectively delegate,
Self-motivated to learn in structured/unstructured environment and quick learning ability preferred.
