Job Description : Description
E&E Foods is looking for an operation’s assistant manager in Kotzebue, AK. This is a seasonal position starting June 10th until approximately September 6th.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the manager to set up buying operation including moving containers, the mobile office, ice machines and water tower to the beach site.
Accommodate adequate ice supply for season opening.
Testing new conveyor and hopper setup.
Startup all vehicles and equipment including forklifts, personal vehicles, boom truck and the all terrain forklift.
Line up working crew for pre-season and season.
Provide buying reports to F&G and corporate office on a timely manner.
Will communicate with the Fish and Game Manager.
Will communicate with FBX and the logistics manager in Seattle.
Will monitor fish quality arriving to Kenai.
Return of fish totes and any needed supplies to Kotzebue.
Assist fishers however possible.
Assist to develop an exit plan for closing down the operation properly including winterizing equipment, shipping equipment to Kenai, organizing the warehouse and cleaning the house and office.
Assist the manager to finalize all reports including the F&G, Fisher deliveries and bonuses and inventory reports.
Wage:
$275 per Day
Poundage bonus of $1,000 if more than 1,000,000 purchased

Due to COVID-19 risk to employees and communities anyone hired to work and live in our communal Alaska operations must be fully vaccinated, booster highly encouraged. E&E will monitor and follow CDC and industry direction.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must show legal authorization to work in the USA

Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Must comply with all COVID-19 protocols and all company safety guidelines and policies.
