Job Description : Job Overview
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Recruitment & Outreach, the Student Services Professional IB is responsible for general recruitment and outreach yield, high school, and community colleges, and building networks and inroads within our local service area and community. This position will recruit targeted populations to the University. The Recruitment and Outreach Officer will visit middle schools, high schools, community colleges, and community partners; speak to diverse groups and individual students and meet with school counselors and administrators to recruit potential students and work towards building a college going culture.
Position Summary
Recruitment and Outreach Officer (Student Services Professional IB)
This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Salary: $3,796 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,796 – $5,369 per month
