Job Description : MTA is looking for a Part-Time Support Center Agent to join our Palmer Support team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

We will train you on everything you’ll need to know to be an amazingly successful and confident Agent. The focus of this search is to find applicants who can give our customers that over-the-top WOW experience every time. If you are positive, bright, energetic, and possess strong communication skills, read on.This position is the first contact for our Internet customers and is responsible for resolving their Internet troubles.Major Areas of Responsibilities:
Provide professional, prompt, courteous, and accurate support to our customers.
Resolve customers’ issues using language that is easily understandable.
Analyze customers’ current internet usage patterns and if appropriate, make recommendations for upgraded services.
Make other internet-related recommendations.
Provide general information.
Handle administrative follow-up for each interaction.
Preferred Skills: Professional certifications such as A+, Net+, and Sec+ are a plus.Shift: This is an entry-level position. Evening and weekend work is required.*Required Qualifications: *
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to type 45 words per minute.
Must be willing to complete a personality assessment designed to determine a suitable fit for the support center’s positions.
Must have an understanding of and sensitivity to and respect for the diverse economic, cultural and disability, and ethnic backgrounds of MTA’s customer base.
