Job Description : The University of Florida Survey Research Center (UFSRC), part of the Bureau of Economic & Business Research is seeking to hire personable individuals as Telephone Interviewers. As a Telephone Interviewer in our lab, you’ll be screening respondents, conducting surveys with them, and collecting information on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, academic and business research, health care, and transportation. The work we do at the UFSRC is vital and has long-lasting social significance, and the data we collect offers insight for informed decisions and provides a greater understanding of principal issues facing American society. At the UFSRC you’ll experience:

Starting pay: $13-/hour plus productivity incentives based on performance

This position is remote subject to supervisor discretion based on performance after the training period

Expected Salary:

$13.00 /hr with the opportunity to receive productivity incentives based on performance.

Minimum Requirements:

Clear and professional speaking voice.
Ability to read from a script exactly as written.
Ability to listen effectively.
Basic computer literacy.
Ability to work 16 hours per week.
Ability to work 3-4 weekday evenings 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm.
Ability to work temporarily from 9:00 pm-10:00 pm one day a week on seasonal projects that call Central Time Zone
Must work one 3-hour weekend shift per week.
Ability to follow standard operating and project-related procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer service and telephone experience.
18 years old or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

We are looking for interviewers to start as soon as possible. All training sessions are on Saturday afternoons.
