Position : Animal Behavior Program Manager
Job Description : As Behavior Program Manager you lead the team that develops and maintains shelter wide behavioral programming standards and practices for dogs and cats under Seattle Humane care. Every day, you’ll collaborate with several departments to address and improve behavior care needs, create modification plans, and work directly training animals. You’ll get to lead a team that’s known for having high moral standards and loves working as a together to improve the lives of pets and their people.

You’ve been an expert for an organization when it comes to dog obedience and advanced dog behavior modification.
LIMA (Least Invasive Minimally Aversive) guidelines and Fear Free methods are embedded in your work.
You’ve led a team of diverse groups of animal welfare professionals that work directly with the community and customers.

Compensation
Full-time position. Starting range of $30-32 hourly.

Hiring timeline:
Application materials (cover letter and resume) submitted by April 13th will receive priority consideration, and the first round of virtual interviews begin shortly thereafter.
Finalists will be required to submit a work sample and invited to a second interview with Seattle Humane leadership.
An offer will be extended by late April and the selected candidate.
