Job Description
Open VisaNet, is the Next Generation of Visa’s transaction processing systems, which will push the envelope of building a highly scalable, secure, cost-effective and distributed application on commodity hardware using best-in-class technology components.
We are one of Visa’s Key initiatives that will help deliver exciting new payment processing solutions on a platform that will process all of Visa’s global payment transaction volume. Ultimately it will enable Visa to fuel growth in electronic payments globally and drive financial inclusion across the world.
Open VisaNet is currently hiring for a Site Administrator in our Program Office to support our team in the Bangalore office.
The role provides direct administrative support to the Open VisaNet Team. This position handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature and requires a broad working knowledge of departmental and company policies and practices.
This role is an individual contributor with a primary focus on execution. This position is at a developing professional level and solves a range of straightforward problems/analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. This position receives a moderate level of guidance and supervision.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative professional business relationships with all Open VisaNet leadership and employees in the Bangalore office
Liaise closely with our other site administrators and other internal departments within Visa, including but not limited to Facilities, HR and Training
Ability to act quickly, seamlessly and professionally in response to problem situations
Manage risks and issues relating to the team or site, and take ownership of a site log ensuring timely updates are provided to the wider Open VisaNet leadership team, with mitigating actions
Provide accurate reporting to all stakeholders in the Bangalore site and the wider Open VisaNet Program Office, including organization charts, recruitment status and training records
Actively engage in the Open VisaNet global engagement team activities, driving change to promote site-wide benefits for the team in Bangalore
Proactively managing and coordinating recurring and ongoing activities that involve the Bangalore site leadership team, including all-hands meetings and department leadership team meetings
Assist with developing and updating complex PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and documents in support of team activities in Bangalore
Coordinate conference/meeting room set-up, order catering, and make logistical arrangements; Coordination of events involving multiple internal teams
Coordinate/Organize visitor meetings – IDs, rooms, refreshments, meet and greet, and provide logistics guidance. Work with other administrators to schedule events when the Leadership teams from other sites visit Bangalore

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications

2 or more years of work experienceBachelor’s Degree highly preferredExperience in a global, public companyDiscretion combined with poise and professionalism in all communicationsMust be able to exercise exceptional judgment regarding information, which may be confidential or material, non-publicThe ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environment with little supervisionDemonstrated strength in multi-tasking and prioritizing work with a strong attention to detailExcellent planning, organizational and written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated strength in developing complex PowerPoint presentationsCustomer service-focused with ability to work collaboratively with others including interacting with internal and external contactsMust be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team
