DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position oversees procurement activities, including but not limited to contracts/grants/purchase orders, assists with the development and monitoring of bureau quality assurance efforts, and identifies and investigates fraud. This position assists with finalizing and submitting WIC policies and procedures to the USDA and with the annual State Plan. Work Hours and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, 1 hour lunch.
You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); OR a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
PA residency requirement is waived for this position.
