Brewing Apprentice ($23.43/hr)
SALARY: $23.43 per hour
WORK LOCATION: Newark, New Jersey

Are you up for the Challenge? ROLE SUMMARY: Safety first, quality always, then volume. As a Brewing Apprentice in the Brewing Department, you will be expected to perform all of the same tasks and responsibilities of a regular, full-time employee. Brewing Apprentices are a critical part of our workforce, by monitoring quality, interpreting data, and improving upon processes to ensure we’re operating the best we can.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Able to perform industrial cleaning, sanitation and quality checks.
Maintain plant safety and quality requirements.
Able to perform basic troubleshooting and ability to communicate at all levels.
Job duties will include managing or controlling brewing systems, driving fork trucks, recording process data.
Ability to work in a team environment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Preferred 2 year degree or brewing experience
Must be willing to work rotating shifts.
Computer experience preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures and climates.
Physical requirements of the position include continuous standing, bending, lifting and pushing.
Basic mathematic and scientific knowledge, technical skills, decision-making skills and presentation skills required.
