Job Description : Imagine taking daily field trips around the Bay Area to all of your favorite places. At Urban Adventure Camps you will get a chance to play hard and work hard, all while experiencing the Bay Area. Our summer counselors get the opportunity to explore and learn right along side the kids. Whether it’s an exciting week of learning science at places like the Exploratorium and Bay Aquarium, or a week of art visiting places like the De Young and the SF MOMA. Of course the fun doesn’t stop there! There are daily field trips to the Bay Area’s top museums, science centers, and urban attractions just waiting for you! It could just be the best job you will ever have! Most importantly, imagine yourself making a difference in the lives of children.
Requirements: We want people to apply who have a genuine love for and interest in working with children. Some experience is necessary. We would like to hire counselors who are a minimum of 18 years of age. Must have valid authorization to work within the US. We are looking for responsible applicants with a willingness to learn, be a part of an awesome team, who will work hard, but also who know how to have a great time! Salary: Starting salary for instructors is $500 per week. Additional pay will be added if working pre or post day care.
