Position : Court Clerk
Job Description : The City of Bothell is looking for a friendly and outgoing person to be our Court Clerk. This individual should have excellent communication skills, be able to work with a vast variety of individuals and have excellent problem-solving abilities. What will this person do?
Perform basic clerical and administrative duties, following Court procedures
Provide customer services, both in person and over the phone
Assist customers with court procedures, payments and citations
Assist Judge with court proceedings

Minimum Qualifications
What does this person need to be successful?
High school diploma or GED AND three (3) year of Court Clerk experience, preferably in Washington State; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Strong Communication Skills – The ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of communication modes, practicing attentive and active listening skills.
Effective Conflict Management Skills – The ability to use positive actions, using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict between two or more people.
Adaptability – The ability to effectively adjust to changes in work processes and environment and can alter behavior to align with evolving situations.
