Position : Park Maintenance Coordinator (Two Open Positions)
Job Description : Posting date: 3/23/21 Closing Date: Open until filled Starting Date: As soon as possible Division: Park Services Position Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt Hours: Monday-Friday. Some evenings and weekends. Supervisor: Park Services Division Director
Responsibilities: The Maintenance Coordinator functions as a journey level parks service and maintenance person with skills in areas such carpentry, signs, electrical, equipment operations, construction, plumbing and septic systems installation and maintenance, welding, and basic project management; other skill areas considered would be in horticulture, forestry, field, facilities, janitorial and building maintenance, natural resources, and campground operations.
Compensation:
Salary: $5,002 per month DOE. 12-step salary scale
Vacation and sick leave. Health, dental, life and disability insurance, participation in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). Discount on most Park District classes, Aquatic Center pool pass for employee and dependents, and Fitness Family BIRC membership.
