Job Description : Meruelo Media in Los Angeles is looking for experienced on-air talent for our multi-media radio brands.
This is a rare opportunity to connect with an audience live on-air. You’ve got to know and be LA, love people and human connections, and know how to leverage social media for FOMO, and bring entertainment value to your content.
Candidates must be proficient in media production and broadcast systems; familiar with Vox Pro, and Pro Tools, Microsoft Office, social networking and studio operating systems. Must be socially aware, mindful and perceptive; up-to-date and in tune daily with the local and national trends and/or specialized knowledge of topics/events related to on-air discussions
You will need an upbeat personality, demonstrated creativity and imagination and be informative, entertaining and engaging on the air; able to relate to the station’s target audience. You must also be able to adapt to changes in schedules and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines.
