Job Description : Duties
Due to the Pandemic and individual states with different phases of reopening, the selectee’s report date to the official duty station/facility may be delayed until such time as employees are allowed to report to the workplace. The person selected may telework up to the maximum extent possible, up to and including full time, until it is determined by state and Federal officials that employees are allowed to report to the workplace where this position is located, on a regular basis.
This position is located within the Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) organization, Office of Personnel Security (AXP), Personnel Security Business and Analytics Division, AXP-300.
Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments in support of professional, technical, or specialized occupations under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced employee. Assists managers and other employees in day-to-day operations.
Performs data entry, runs reports, cross references reports, and assists in performing customer service in box.
Develops and assists in preparation of meeting agendas; correspondence; reports; and presentation training tools, documents, and reports as directed by Division Manager using data collected from various sources. Compiles and reviews data from a variety of sources (i.e., Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Investigative Tracking System 2 (ITS2), Vendor Applicant Process (VAP), etc. Develops and prepares monthly workload and other types of reports as requested.
Accepts customer service emails from the AXP-300 email intake box and reviews inquiry needs, corresponds with Personnel Security Specialists in determining action and updating Master Tracking Spreadsheet as required.
Assists with data management on AXP Sharepoint, data gathering for metrics reports and Job Aids, and creating and updating a variety of documents (i.e., project plans, program plans, Powerpoint presentations, etc.).
Provides Vendor customer service in support of VAP access, training, and communication (new VAP Accounts, training tools, password resets, and re-setting inactive accounts). Assists with creating VAP contract profiles (creating EXCEL tables of vetted labor categories, adding to Sharepoint with PSS (AXP-300) approval contract review notifications.
Updates contractor status in ITS by using vetted contract lists (Contracting Officer (CO)/Contracting Officer Representative (COR) verification). Lists identify new contract status in record (new contract number, CO/COR contact information, complete “former” action on prior contact if needed, verify investigation/risk level and add vetted remark to identify update). Reviews to ensure prior investigation meets new labor category risk level in conjunction with Personnel Security Specialist review. Generates ITS2 reports for data analysis to on specific contracts.
Reviews reports for PIV data and assists in communicating to FAA POC’s and Vendors on collection of PIV’s.
Performs other duties as assigned.
