Deltas Global Health and Wellbeing Team works across Delta to create JOY and enhance the health and wellbeing of its employees, customers, communities, and partners. To deliver on this mission, Global Health and Wellbeings Integration Team is responsible for establishing, promoting, and prioritizing Deltas health and wellbeing goals and objectives.
The Project Leader Strategy Alignment will be responsible for supporting Global Health and Wellbeings Integration Team. The individual will lead high-profile initiatives that support the health & wellbeing of Delta people while partnering cross-divisionally with other organizations within Delta, with Delta leadership and externally with vendors and business partners. assist with defining, communicating and measuring progress against the Global Health and Wellbeings overarching strategic goals. The position Project Leader will leverage skills in strategic thinking, cross-divisional coordination, and project and data management in order to add value across the organization assist Global Health and Wellbeing leaders to execute on strategy. This role will be part of a strong team who will work closely with many Division leaders to develop and deliver outcomes that align with Global Health and Wellbeings short- and long-term business strategies for (1) Clinical Programs and (2) Global Benefits.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Ability to manage complex, high-profile projects, drive action and timely follow-up with both internal stakeholders and external business partners to establish programs and partnerships that enhance the health and wellbeing of Delta people.
Comfortable working with and presenting to Delta executive leadership.
Ability to remove roadblocks to success through strong relationships, effective communication, and creative solutions to new and long-standing challenges.
Curiosity and willingness to work on additional projects as needed, including reporting and ad hoc analytical requests.
Ability to gain alignment on key performance measures and report program performance and effectiveness to executive leaders and other stakeholders throughout each program phase.
Critical thinking skills to create and translate analysis into clear insights.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment to assess cross-divisional business challenges and create a streamlined approach toward a solution, for both the short-term and long-term.
Self-starter initiative to push towards next steps with minimal supervision.
Ability to learn quickly, navigate ambiguous problems, and approach work in a flexible way.
Must be highly proficient in written and oral communication and able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations for senior leaders with a keen eye toward precision and detail.
Possesses analytical mindset and innate curiosity, valuing research, insight, metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles.
Consistently makes safety, security, and wellbeing of self and others, the priority.
Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
Desire to learn new project management software tools.
Satisfactory performance in current position.
BS/BA, preferably in a relevant field business, marketing, communications or public health; advantage to candidates with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
