Position : Virginia Unarmed Security Officer
Job Description : Screening of packages, individuals and vaccination status or negative test results
Perform package inspection using automated technology or by manual, visual surveillance. This includes but is not limited to inspection of coolers, packages, briefcases, purses, bags, and other containers in the possession of visitors entering the facilities.
Deny admittance to those persons refusing to submit to a voluntary inspection, except for those persons exempted by specific Government directive.
Screen individuals with walk-through screening detectors. Magnetometers, and hand-held screening detectors for prohibited items.
Screen for proof of COVID-19 vaccination status for all audience patrons or review proof of a negative COVID-19 test result for all audience patrons and verify the proof belongs to the individual presenting it.
Be responsible for operating security equipment such as Walk-Through Screening Detectors, Magnetometers, and Hand-Held Screening Detector equipment.
Conduct and report on security equipment performance tests as directed by Lead Security Officer.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays (Please only apply if you are available on weekends and holidays)
Must be available to work between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30PM
Must have reliable transportation
Must possess a Virginia Issued Unarmed Security Guard License or have started the process prior to first day of work.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.66 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shift
8 hour shift
On call
Weekend availability
