Job Description : Duties and Responsibilities
This position is located at the Land Protection Branch’s Tradeport Offices at 4244 International Parkway, Ste. 104 Atlanta, GA 30354-3906. The incumbent in this position assists the Underground Storage Tank Program with answering phones, data entry, processing mail, filing and other administrative and programmatic functions. The position also does leave entry, purchasing, and maintains vehicle fuel purchase logs.
Based on education and experience, the selectee will be hired into one of the below mentioned job codes. Salary is commensurate with education and experience in compliance with State Personnel Board Rules.

Preferred Qualifications

Competent and skilled in multi-tasking in a fast paced work environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel. PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills including writing, speaking, editing, proofreading, and phone presence.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to self-start and work independently.
Experience providing professional=level administrative support in a flexible and changing work environment.
Demonstrated record of reliability.
Familiarity with State of Georgia government or other government organizations.
Ability to work effectively with staff in a team-oriented environment and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
