LSG Sky Chefs a part of the LSG Group with over 75 years of Catering history is immediately hiring, full time team players to prepare and process food orders offered through our Ghost Kitchen operations operated in the Denver land area.

This is a brand new business venture and we want to add great team members who want to make a difference. If you enjoy a fast-paced, team-based production environment with a focus on quality food preparation, food service and delivery, this position may be for you.

You are in charge of all operations for the Ghost Kitchen venture of LSG Sky Chefs in Denver

Main Accountabilities

Strategically plan, organize, and manage a multi-unit kitchen with regards to daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety
Responsible for department costs to budget through effective manpower planning, scheduling, overtime usage
Accountable for cost of goods and waste management
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), safety, health, environmental and other regulations
Ensure on-time and accurate production in the preparation of food/equipment and order fulfilment
Responsible for customer satisfaction and ownership of marketing initiatives
Maintain an ongoing, positive and pro-active relationship with all internal and external customers
Provides recommendations on business improvement and advises senior leadership on labor issues including, safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training etc.
Ensures that a team of high performing support staff is in place
Communicates the importance of building success the right way: through the creation of culture to empower employees
Supports the efforts of the team developing excellent kitchens, maintaining an effective system of marketing, and building an effective facilities support and maintenance program
Provides leadership, direction, training, and development to supervisors and teams

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

H.S. diploma or equivalent knowledge required
Bachelor’s Degree comparable skills and experience
In addition, 5-7 years of proven multi-unit leadership in a service, QSR and /or fast casual restaurant environment, preferred
Ability to manage P&L cost and developing/implementing corrective action to address issues
Solid knowledge of the service kitchen or QSR industry, with a focus on hospitality
Ghost Kitchen Operation / Delivery only concept knowledge is a plus
Preferred proficiency in restaurant operations, back of house and related systems Proven success of developing high performing teams
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong presentation, communication, training and interpersonal skills
Passion for producing quality food in a timely manner

Work Environment

This position will be located at our ghost kitchen locations in the City of Denver, with potential travel to our central production kitchen at the airport
