The Member Service Specialist will support families and young people involved with the NJ System of Care. This role is a call center position and strong customer service skills are required. Tuesday-Saturday 10:30am-7:00pm

PerformCare NJ helps families and young people access the NJ Children’s System of Care. The System links families to behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disability services and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities:
Member Services Specialists are the first point of contact for youth, families/caregivers and providers accessing the System of Care. They are responsible for answering calls within a specific service level agreement and completing the registration process as well as managing questions from treatment providers. Member Services Specialists determines the appropriating routing of the call and attempts to be the first point of resolution. This position is also responsible for maintaining consistent procedures and providing outstanding customer service. The Member Services Specialist Senior manages the urgent calls that require linking the parent to immediate crisis services. Additionally, assists in providing an orientation and trainings to new associates.

Education/Experience:
High School/GED required.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.3-5 years experience.Other Skills: Call Center, Customer Service, Behavioral Health, Managed Care, Human Services, Data Entry, Crisis Intervention.
