Job Description : Hello – Our company is International Import & Export Distributor and looking to Hire a HANDS ON Operation & Logistics Manager – You will manage various administrative, Operation, and logistics processes.
-Must have Minimum 2 Years Experience with International and National Logistics
-Must Have Experience with Trucking, LTL, Oceanfreight
-Must Have Solid Communication Skills
-Extreme Attention to Detail
-Must have a CAN DO Attitude (Lots of Growth Experience)
You have a critical view of all incoming and outgoing shipments in the company worldwide and together with management you ensure that all logistics and warehouse processes are implemented. All teams will rely heavily on your accuracy and organizational skills. You understand the business from a commercial and logistical point of view, and can therefore make the right choices to ensure that the process runs smoothly from A to Z.
Together with management you work on the further professionalization of our Supply Chain.
This is what your day looks like.
You:
Constantly track and manage ALL Logistics and operations within the company (from buying the product, to getting it to the customer) on a DAILY basis.
You are the first point of contact in all areas within our Supply Chain & Logistics at an operational level.
communicates with customers and suppliers and all logistics contacts to ensure quality and on time deliveries.
Ensure payments are made to vendors, ensure vendors ships product (or if we need to arrange) in a timely manner and notify teams and warehouses of incoming and outgoing shipments. Ensure customs clearance is pre-arranged.
you continuously work on ‘what can be done better’ within the various facets of the operation.
responds quickly to changes and dares to make decisions.
This is you:
You have some experience with office management, and some experience in Supply Chain & Logistics.
Must Always be Proactive and Extremely Organized.
You are fluent in English (other languages are an advantage);
You are available full time (36 – 44 hours p/w);
You are hands-on, decisive and proactive. You think along with the customer, come up with solutions and achieve positive results.
You enjoy contributing to the success of our company, in which you can put your entrepreneurship, initiatives and can-do mentality to good use.
You are a team player and enjoy meeting customers and vendors.
You have good Microsoft Office skills.
