We are seeking a program manager on the End-to-End (E2E) inventory flow team in Operations Services who will deliver key inventory strategic initiatives such as automated ordering, support the design of new inventory flow paths, and support the incubation of transformational inventory innovations (e.g., smart technologies and distribution logistics). This work also involves developing retail-facing resources, training, and change management plans to support the successful launches of these initiatives.

Our goal is to transform the store inventory experience to one that just works, giving partners more time to focus on customers. Leading the strategy and operations for Inventory Innovation requires a passionate servant leader who is customer-focused, operations-minded, and a creative problem-solver. They will bring diverse viewpoints together and inspire a team while working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

As a program manager, you will…

Lead a team of partners to deliver their very best and create meaningful careers.
Develop strategic and operational plans for the team, manage execution, and measure results.
Provide retail operations and supply chain expertise on programs and projects to optimize performance relative to sales, profitability, and the customer and partner experience.
Lead high-performing, cross-functional, often globally distributed teams to deliver complex, multi-year, multifaceted programs.
Leverage the Starbucks Way to define the right problem to solve, set a clear vision, create an empowered team, choose a work method, and set up the environment for collaboration.
Ensure proposed programs and projects align with company goals and strategies and communicate to all relevant stakeholders.
Autonomously and appropriately apply knowledge, processes, skills, tools, and techniques to project and program activities to meet cross-program goals.
Nimbly adapt to shifting priorities while assessing the overall health of existing programs and priorities.
Drive decisions through influencing decision-makers and balancing risk and uncertainty across multiple projects, programs, and functions.
Drive alignment across multiple senior leaders and influence cross-functional teams to support new ideas and decisions.
Understand and share the reasoning behind critical organizational policies, practices, procedures, and cultures to navigate formal and informal channels.
Optimize talent, materials, and budget between projects and ensures effective and efficient resource utilization across the program.
