Job Summary
Take your first step towards a new career
As a Research Tech I, you will have the opportunity to care for all species of animals at our state-of-the-art safety sites. Based on your interests you will learn skills in the areas of Pathology, Animal Care and other areas within the organization. You will learn new skills ranging from animal care and handling, blood collection, dosing administration, and different techniques within Histology.
The training and development offered to our Research Technicians is state of the art and designed to help you succeed. The work you will be doing will impact the lives of patients and animals across the world.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. exposure to basic Lab skills or a Bachelor of Science degree with no industry experience

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
