Job Description : Title: Training & Placement OfficerWork Profile:To look after the training and placement activities of studentsTo have close liaison with industry for the placement of students.To work in consultation with the coordinator Industry Institute interaction for organizing lectures from professionals and industry.To collect feedback from the companies coming for placementArrange training programs for soft skills and for interview facing skills for the students using institutional and external expertise.To organize the entrepreneurship workshops.Qualification and Experience:Essential: Postgraduate degree in Management.Desirable: 02 years of service experience in the relevant field.Skills / Technical knowledge required:Recruiting to find the right students for job opportunities, placement officers must understand the recruiting process, including how to identify the best candidates for positions, interview them, and assist companies with the hiring processCareer counseling helping students plan a career path and find jobs requires placement officers to ask questions about students goals and interests and lead them to resources that help them achieve those goalsInterpersonal skills placement officers need strong interpersonal skills to network with employers and coach students who have diverse needsCommunication skills effectively helping students with their careers requires asking specific questions and listening carefully to get useful insight into what jobs best fit them.
