Position : Operations Specialist
Job Description : We’re looking for an Operations Specialist to help evaluate potential partners and maintain the high bar of our community of responsible breeders. You’ll be tasked with understanding and helping to further our standards and processes, gathering information, evaluating it, and making screening decisions regarding new potential partners before bringing them onto our platform. You’ll also be following up with breeders to clarify information regarding their applications and help them make their profile on our site once they pass our screening process.This role is critical to building our community of high-quality breeders. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of an exciting, fast-growing company backed by some of the top investors in the country that’s on a mission to make the world a better place for dogs and the humans who love them.What You’ll DoCollect, validate, and evaluate data using our processes and standardsPartner with our standards and research team to operationally implement their findingsConstantly refine and improve our approachCollect information with friendly and efficient communicationsAssist breeders in building public-facing profilesWhat We’re Looking For1-3 years of professional experience, bonus if they are in a dog-related fieldStrong research motivation while sticking to firm deadlinesAbility to get very granular while keeping the big picture in mindExtreme attention to detail with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communicator, as comfortable on email as they are on the phoneStrong organizational skills with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and efficiencyExcited to be part of a fast-paced, evolving startup environmentPassionate about being part of our missionGood Dog is an equal opportunity employer.
