This is an amazing opportunity to start your career in the mortgage industry. You will learn about the mortgage process and interact with many different business units to fully understand the mortgage process.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Take incoming calls and provide follow-up as appropriate, which may include other departments.Provide the customer with assistance setting up an online account and online payments, other payment options, due date, loan details, etc.Return calls timelyMonitor emails and respond appropriately.Make outbound calls for default loans.Write professional letters for accounts in default.Provide instructions to borrowers on how to change the mailing address.Provide instructions regarding borrower authorization on file for 3rd parties.Obtain information from the borrower to research payment as appropriate.Track paymentsCustomer service calls often require listening to borrower concerns obtaining information from the borrower to accomplish the research and following up with the borrower in a timely manner to resolve. This requires a general understanding of the servicing department as a whole.Interface with other corporate departments for data sharing when needed.Work Requirements:Must be able to communicate adequately via, emails, verbally, telephone, letter writing, operate a computer, maintain a work schedule, work in an office environment with exposure to CR, LCD, and UV rays. Working extended hours may be required.Qualifications:Mortgage-related experience is preferred, but not required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required.Organization skills.Customer service skills.Written and verbal skills.Able to keep abreast of all changes and adapt them into the daily routine.Microsoft Office skills.Touch Typing and Ten Key skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $18.50 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Salt Lake City, UT 84116: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: One location
