Pay Rate: $20
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am – 3pm (Flexible)

Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting office manager with preparing reports,
correspondence, and spreadsheets
Organizing, updating and maintaining databases
Providing excellent customer service to members and
guests
Gather documents to prepare for meetings, classes,
Shabbat, and holidays.
Sabbath/Holiday preparation and assistance, including
managing and maintaining the kitchens and linen/floral
ordering
Distributing mail, forwarding communications, and handling
preparation of synagogue wide mailings
Responsibilities include:
Writing and editing correspondence, drafting letters, and preparing communications
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit
before directing them to the appropriate staff member
Updating database files for copying, scanning, filing as
needed
Work collaboratively and coordinate with the office staff,
religious school, preschool, and youth departments,
members, committees, community members and vendors.
Ordering materials and submitting check requests
Qualifications and Skills
Experience 2-3 years in similar position
Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not required)
Strong technical, verbal and writing skills
Computer and software skills including:
MS Excel, MS Office Suite, Google Workforce, Database
management
Dependable and detail-oriented, with solid organizational Skills
Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion always
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A team player as well as able to work independently
Solid problem solving and interpersonal skills
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
