Job Description : Job DescriptionWell established Accounting Firm in Moneta seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain financial records for multiple clients, working close with accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.Responsiblities· Process financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll for multiple companies· Monthly account reconciliations· Process Federal, state, and local payroll tax payments by established deadlines· Calculate and process monthly sales tax payments· Quarterly payroll tax reconciliations· Client communication and coordination of informationKey Compentencies· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers· Working knowledge of Quickbooks· Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax deadlines/requirements· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail· Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment· Planning, organizing and prioritization· Information collection, analysis, and management· Problem solving· TeamworkRequired· Associate degree or higher in Accounting· Strong communication skills – verbal and written· Confidentiality· Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles· Customer service orientedJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offRetirement planPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:To ensure the safety of our employees, clients and their families we are following the safety protocols mandated by the CDC and the State of Virginia.Education:Associate (Required)Experience:Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)Office: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
