Development & Acquisition Analysts will take part in Bonaventure’s Rotational Training Program for Analysts. The program includes several main components based on our dedication to providing, “Context, Context, Context”:Context – In person, classroom-style learning and discussions with internal or external subject-matter experts. These training programs are LIVE, in-person and rely heavily on participation and discussion for those that learn better by hearing. Particular focus on case studies and examples.Context Review – Self-paced, software-based review of information that will bring the classroom learning to life, focusing study on Bonaventure-specific deals and information for those that learn better by seeing.Context in Practice – Experiential and hands-on training with subject-matter experts for those that learn better by doing.At the conclusion of the program, you will be positioned to capitalize on specialized positions within Bonaventure or for success outside of the organization.Our Ideal Candidates: Our ideal candidates have recently completed undergraduate degrees and have little to no work experience. They are passionate about real estate, have a voracious appetite for learning new things, and enjoy a goal-driven, fast paced environment. Time management skill set will include the ability to work independently without significant, direct supervision and handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize as needed. Critical thinkers and problem solvers, these team members can comfortably shift focus as needed. Positive attitude a must.What You’ll Do: Development & Acquisitions Analyst Responsibilities: Support Developers to drive outcomes that maximize our pro forma and minimize the time to construction.Coordinate the work of a variety of internal and external teams including architect, engineers, GC, attorneys, surveyors, title companies, lenders, third party subject matters experts and vendors, and internal staff to meet deadlines and goals of project business plans.Maintain, refine, and compare financial models and provide analytical support to Developers.Budget forecasting, and re-forecasting for new projects.Manage adherence to project milestones including deviations from budget and review of third-party deliverables.Conduct research and prepare reports.Coordinate accounts payable with the accounting department.Problem solve and anticipate future potential issues.Other responsibilities as assigned.Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related fieldDesire to learn and grow in the commercial real estate industryHigh technical competence and the ability to pick up on new software quickly.
