Job Description
Veteran Government Services (VGS) is seeking a “Work-from-Home” Human Resource (HR) Specialist.
Your role will include on-boarding employees utilizing the Paychex Recruiting and Hiring module, updating and maintaining employee personnel and pay records, and coordinating the update of employee benefits packages with the company’s benefits providers.
Responsibilities:
Utilizing the Paychex Recruitment and Hiring tool assist with the company’s recruitment and on-boarding process.
Maintain and update employee HR records.
Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with the resolution of employee issues (e.g., leaves of absences, workers compensation, etc.).
Serve as the company’s benefits manager/contact for both the benefits providers and employees.
Assist with the creation, implementation, and evaluation of all human resource policies and procedures.
Assist with the conduct of annual employee performance reviews.
